Construction is great but I don’t understand why the key is on the bottom of the frame. Very awkward to locate and insert the key. It is set to leave the key in place while riding, on the bottom of the bike that looks like it is waiting to fall out. Other than this it seems to be a great bike, I just don’t understand the location of the key.

I didn’t complete a review because all I did was unpack it from box. Which I must say you had it packed very well in a heavy box with a lot of necessary padding for shipping.

Love this bike. Adjusted the shocks to give a softer ride and now love it.

Just received, unboxed, assembled the bike and went for it's first 12 mile ride. It was comfortable and easy to adjust the handlebars and seat while out on the first ride. The controls are easy to access while riding. There is a lot of power on setting 2 compared to 1 for pedal assist. I almost wish there was a 1.5, but that is a minor thing I will get used to. The way back to our house is ALWAYS uphill by a lot so I was often not motivated to ride my regular bike. At the end of my first EB7 ride I used the throttle almost exclusively on the last mile to get home to test it. It was super easy. I got up to about 22mph throttle only. The battery still shows full so I hardly used any power on the 12 mile ride.

ASSEMBLY: Assembly was very easy. I watched some videos from a year ago from others assembling and reviewing the bike, and since then Jasion has started packaging the EB7 mostly assembled...so I was so happy that didn't have to do all the work that was shown in the videos. All I had to do was get it out of the box, remove packaging, unfold it, get the handlebars, pedals, and seat on, air up the tires, then charge the battery (took about 2.5 hrs to fully charge out of box) and it was ready to go. I installed the front basket too and that was super easy. One of the hex wrenches that came in the box worked for that. I have yet to install the back basket I purchased. I am super happy with this bike!

I took the bike out for a short test drive(also snow), so I am not able to give a 100% review, but I was impressed with the get and go.

The bike was delivered a week before Thanksgiving. I chose Jasion partly because of its excellent reviews and I have not been disappointed. The bike has exceeded my expectations in every respect:
-- It was extremely well packaged; shipped across country and arrived in perfect condition.
-- Assembly was child's play. I was a bit apprehensive about this as I had never assembled a bike before, but it came 98% pre-assembled. All I had to do was finish attaching the handlebar stem and insert the seat post. Disk brakes and derailleur did not need any adjustments at all.
-- The battery came fully charged and everything works perfectly. The tail/brake light is a nice upgrade from what's shown on the website. It's fully integrated into the electrical system. Head and tail lights and fenders were already installed. The backlight on the color LED display is adjustable for brightness. Nice. I was planning to replace the pedals with folding pedals from Amazon. The OME pedals fold up, making the folded bike easier to move/store. Very Nice. Here's a tip: get a very short bungee cord to hold the front and back tires together when the bike is folded. That keeps it from unfolding when you remove the battery and makes lifting it easier.
-- I test-rode several e-bikes costing 2-3 times more than the Jasion EB7 ST. I REALLY like the solid, sturdy feel of this bike. Everything about it feels/looks like higher quality than what one would expect from one of the least expensive fat-tire e-bikes on the market.
-- I've only ridden it twice so far, on 2 consecutive days. Was lazy and didn't recharge the battery after day 1. Still had more than 60% battery power left after day 2, pedaling gently-moderately in PAS levels 1-3.

I'm really enjoying this eBike! The only thing I wish is that it was a little lighter but I can live with that. Great bike for the price! My wife bought one a while back and she really likes it so we bought one for me.

I've purchase this model for a friend. We reside in Canada and we bought the EB7 V2 on Amazon, but can't find the ST model. So I have to get it ship to our second home un Vermont to bring it back. Otherwise, we love you product. Well build, easy to use and robust.

I love my new bike, but also have some "could be better" thoughts. I am a 50 year old woman who has been mountain biking for 30+ years, road cycling for 10+. I recently had to give up my road bike, as the aggressive posture was too much for my fused cervical spine (thank you mountain biking). I will use this to get to work (12 miles on a rails to trails). The seat is very comfy, and upright position feels good on my neck, but the saddle seems too far forward. I also have the saddle up high enough to properly extend my legs while pedaling, but this makes me unable to touch the ground at a stop. Not a deal breaker though, as I simply shift my body forward off of the seat. I am 5'5". The pedal assist has a bit of a lag, mostly when you stop pedaling- it continues to "assist", which could be concerning if a sudden stop is necessary. The throttle is great when starting out to get up to speed. The rack is great! A way to mount a water bottle would be nice. I'm guessing that I would find similar issues with any comparable e-bike, and after much research and selecting the Jasion, I think it was the right decision. I found no reason to spend more on something else. I would recommend!
